National Institute of Epidemiology (NIE) is going to conduct a Walk in Interview to fill up the vacant post of Scientist and Technician on temporary and ad hoc basis under the project sanctioned by ICMR Task Force Projects on Leprosy at National Institute of Epidemiology (NIE) for six Months. Job Details of Scientist and Technician Vacancies in National Institute of Epidemiology (NIE)
01.  Scientist – B (Non Medical)
Vacancies: – 01 Post (UR)
Academic Qualification: – Post Graduate Degree in Social Work or Medical Sociology or Anthropology or Psychology Discipline from any Govt. recognized Institution  or University.
Age Limit: – Maximum 35 years.
Salary: – Fixed Amount Rs. 31831/- with HRA per month.
02. Technical Officer-A
Discipline: – Social Work
Vacancies: – 02 Posts (UR).
Educational Qualification: – Bachelor Degree in Social work or Medical Sociology or Anthropology or Psychology discipline from any Govt. recognized Institution or University with five years working experience.
Applicants Age Limitation: – Not more than 30 years.
Salary: – Fixed Amount Rs. 26183/- per month.
03. Technical Assistant (Lab)
Vacancies: – 01 Post (SC).
Qualification: – Bachelor Degree in Microbiology or Medical Microbiology Discipline with DMLT certificate.
Age: – Maximum 30 years.
Salary: – Consolidated Pay Rs. 10700/- Per Month.
04. Technician C
Discipline: – Lab
Vacancies: – 02 Posts (UR-01, SC-01).
Qualification: – Intermediate with Diploma in  DMLT certificate.
Applicants Age: – Not more than 30 years.
Salary: – Fixed amount Rs. 8560/- Per Month.
05. Technician C (Field)
Vacancies: – 01 Post (OBC)
Qualification: – Bachelor Degree
Age: – 30 years.
Salary: – Rs. 13284/- per month
Date and Time of Walk in Interview: – Interview will be held on 05th March 2012 between 9:30 AM and 1:00 PM.
