Applications are invited for the following posts :
  1. Visiting Scientist/Research AssociateQualification : Ph.D degree in Sociology Pay Scale : Rs.35,000-40,000/-P.M. + HRA
    Age limit : below 32 years
  2. Assistant ProfessorQualification : a) Ph.D degree in Sociology and strong academic record b) 3 year’s Post-doctoral Research and/or teaching experience (relaxable in exceptional cases) Pay Scale : (PB-3) Rs.15,000-39,100 with minimum pay of Rs. 30,000 with Grade Pay of Rs.8,000 + allowances. After completion of 3 years’ service in
    PB-3 they will be placed in (PB-4) Rs.37,400-67,000 with Grade pay of Rs.9,000 + allowances.
    Age limit : below 32 years
  3. Associate Professor/ProfessorQualification : a) Ph.D. degree in Sociology and consistently strong academic record b) For Associate Professor: 6 Years’ research and/or teaching experience in the post of Assistant Professor; For Professor: 12 years’ research and teaching experience with 6 years’ in the post of Associate Professor or equivalent( relaxable in exceptional cases) Pay Scale : For Associate Professor: (PB-4) Rs.37,400-67,000 with minimum pay Rs.42,800 with Grade pay of Rs.9,500+ allowances. For Professor PB-4 Rs.37,400-67,000 with minimum pay Rs.48,000 with Grade pay of Rs.10,500.
