Centre for Linguistics and Translation Studies – 01
Qualification : Semantics & Pragmatics, Psycholinguistics & Sociolinguistics While UGC norms will apply, preference will be given to candidates with higher qualifications
Centre for Comparative Literature – 04
Qualification : Essential: Minimum qualification is 55% in MA in Comparative Literature OR in English OR in any Indian Language/ Literature OR in Cultural Studies OR in any related discipline. Those with teaching experience and/or M.Phil/ Ph.D degrees in any of the above disciplines would be preferred.
Centre for the Study of Foreign Languages – 06
Qualification : To offer introductory courses in German, French, Spanish, Chinese, Russian and Japanese Essential: M.A. in the relevant subject or equivalent degree/diploma from a recognized institution.
Centre for English Language Studies – 05
Qualification : Essential: M.A. in English or Linguistics
Desirable: PGDTE and/ or M.Phil. and/or Ph.D. in English or Linguistics and/or UGC NET/JRF
Centre for Dalit & Adivasi Studies and Translation – 02
Qualification : Essential: Ph.D. in Dalit / Adivasi Literature
Desirable: Preference will be given to candidates having knowledge of Computing in Hindi and Translation
