The Results of APTET (Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test) are likely to be delayed due to issues with the question paper and later evaluation procedures. Earlier it was expected that APTET 2011 results will be announced on 28th or 29th of January 2012. There will be some delay in releasing results as the Government has received several complaints from the candidates on the question paper.
It is observed by the APTET candidates that there are several mistakes in the question paper. It is also complained that some questions were asked beyond the syllabus. The Minister for School Education has informed that the Government will initiate an inquiry into the issue of question paper and results will be announced soon after the findings of the inquiry.
Meanwhile, The Govt. of Andhra Pradesh is contemplating to release DSC 2012 notification for the recruitment of candidates for teacher posts. About 21000 teacher posts are likely to be filled initially thorough this notification. The DSC 2012 notification will be released by the end of this month. There will be separate recruitment notifications for posts in Gurukula (AP Residential Schools) and Adarsha Schools. It is expected that the Government will announce teacher recruitment notifications in a phased manner.
