Armed Forces Medical Corps Medical Officer Recruitment 2012
Indian Army has invited applications from Doctors for grant of Short Service Commission SSC in the Army Medical Corps AMC.Interested candidates can apply for recruitment to these vacancies as follows -
Doctor Vacancies - 120 posts
Pay Scale - Rs.15600-39100 + Grade pay Rs.6100 + Military Service Pay MSP Rs.6000 + NPA.PG Degree holders will be eligible for PG Allowance of Rs 1000/month or specialist pay after undergoing the laid down procedure.
Qualification - MBBS.Post graduate degree holders i.e. MD/MS/MCh/DM may also apply.
Upper Age limit -45 years as on 31 -12- 2011
Selection Procedure - Eligible candidates will be called for interview by a Board of Officers in the month of July of 2012 at Army Hospital (Research & Referral) New Delhi near Dhaula Kuan, Delhi Cantt. to assess their suitability and merit for grant of SSC in the Armed Forces Medical Services.
Application Fees - Demand Draft Rs 200 in favour of DGAFMS (APF) payable at New Delhi . Candidates should write his/her particulars on the backside of demand draft
How to apply - Application on a A4 size plain paper duly completed in all respects strictly on the prescribed proforma as per advertisement along with attested copies of required documents and Demand Draft should reach at the following address -

Provision for PG Course - An officer can apply for PG Entrance Examination on completion of 4 years of commissioned service.
