3. Assistant Personnel Officer : 05 posts
4. Assistant (Hindi) : 01 post
5. Operator : 16 posts

General Instructions:
1. The age and experience shall be reckoned as on 01-February-2012. Self attested photocopies of the following documents should be attached with the application and the original certificates shall be required to be presented at the time of Interview.

2. Matriculation / Secondary Certificate as proof of Date of Birth. Mark sheet / Certificate in support of qualification and experience. Caste Certificate in format prescribed by the Govt. of India, if applicable. Disability Certificates issued by Competent Authority if seeking age relaxation.
3. In case of variation in name / surname / name spelling mentioned in the application with that in the certificates pertaining to education / professional qualification / Caste etc., the applicant shall be required to submit a certificate from SDM or equivalent to this effect failing which the candidature shall be liable to be cancelled.
4. Candidates called for interview shall be reimbursed to and fro fare by shortest route as per rules from their address of correspondence within India to the place of interview on submission of proof of journey. Eligibility for such reimbursement shall be limited to Apex Air Fare / AC 1st Class (1A) fare by Rail
5. HCL reserves the right to fill the posts or alter the number of posts or cancel the process of recruitment in full or part without assigning any reason therefor. Depending upon the qualification, experience, present position and performance in interview,
6. Selected candidate shall be liable to serve in any of the Company’s Units. Other factors remaining the same, preference shall be given to candidates with experience in Metal Mining Industry. HCL is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
7. Application Fee Application must be accompanied with a non-refundable Account Payee Demand Draft of Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty Only) drawn on any Scheduled Bank in favour of Hindustan Copper Limited and payable at Kolkata with a validity period of six (6) months.
8. DD issued either on a date prior to the date of advertisement or payable at a location other than Kolkata, shall not be accepted. SC / ST / PWD / Female candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
9. Candidates employed in Government / Semi-Government / Public Sector Undertaking are required to submit their application through Proper Channel or produce a No Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of Interview, failing which they shall not be interviewed and no claim for reimbursement of travel expenses shall be entertained.

The Prime Minister of India laid the foundation stone on August 28, 2006, establishing the institute along the lines of the IISc in Bangalore, and its five sister institutions, the IISERs that are being established at Pune, Mohali, Kolkata, Bhopal and Thiruvanthapuram in India.[1] Unlike the IISERs, which will be governed by India’s Ministry of Human Resources Development, NISER operates under the umbrella of the Indian Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). The government of India has earmarked an initial outlay of Rs. 823.19 crores (INR 8.23 billion) during the first seven years of this project, starting from September 2007. The Indian Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh has stated that NISER will compare with the best institutions in the country in terms of facilities and faculty.[1] This move will help elevate the standard of research and education in Orissa.The National Institute of Science Education and Research is dedicated to graduate education and research only. It offers a five-year integrated M.Sc. as well as Ph.D. degrees in pure and applied sciences.
