State Health Society Bihar under National Rural Health Mission / NRHM has advertise for filling up the Eye Surgeon / Para-Medical Ophthalmic Assistants (PMOA) vacancies.

These vacancies are under National Programme for Control of Blindness (NPCB).Those who are interested in NRHM Jobs may apply for recruitment as follows -

1. Eye Surgeon / Ophthalmologist – 08 posts,Qualification – MD / MS in Ophthalmology with 1 year of Post PG experience or DOMS with 2 years of Post PG experience,Pay Scale – Rs 35000 / month
2. Para Medical Ophthalmic Assistants (PMOA) – 101 posts,Qualification – 2 years Diploma course in Optometry or trained as a Ophthalmic Assistant in any of the recognized Government Hospital as per guidelines of NPCB,Pay Scale – Rs 8000 / month

Upper age limit - 65 years as on 30-09-2012
Application Fees - Rs. 500 for General category, Rs. 300 for BC / EBC and Rs. 200 for SC /  ST candidates in the form of Demand Draft drawn on any nationalized bank and payable at Patna favoring State Health Society, Bihar
Selection Process - Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Interview
