Bajaj Auto India has recently unveiled the new Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS which is a new generation of Pulsar which is much ahead of the previous generations in terms of styling and technology. There has been many improvements and changes, in fact so many changes that it seems like an all new bike with little resemblance to old Pulsar. Bajaj is also working on a new generation of Bajaj Discover series which will be Bajaj Discover 2013 which may make its debut towards the end of year 2012 or early 2013 in India. Bajaj is aggressively marketing Bajaj discover range in India with TV commercials, print promotions and though other mediums. Discover series of Bajaj is also quite popular with motorcycles which are mid-way between the low power fuel efficient commuters and the high power low mileage performance bikes. With Bajaj Discover series which usually have close to 125 CC of engine displacement, Bajaj has sold quite a lot of them in past few year.To give Discover a fair share of fame, Bajaj will launch Bajaj Discover 2013 in India with improved features and styling as it has done for the new Pulsar series. The new Bajaj Discover 2013 has been spotted tested and pictures are shared on Facebook. What Is New In Bajaj Discover 2013 New Model?
The new discover will get a new and improved instrument cluster, a new design visor, steel handlebar, metal extensions beyond the handle bar grips to reduce vibrations in bike. From the glimpse of the instrument cluster, it seems that it s a analog-digital kind of instrument clusters like we see in the pulsar series in India.image – Bajaj Discover 2013 New Model
From the side view, we can see rear tyre hugger which is somewhat similar to what we see in Bajaj Pulsar series. The alloy wheels are also new with design similar to that of Pulsar 200 NS with sleek looking design in black alloys. The rear brakes are drum brakes while the front brakes are disk brakes. There is a new exhaust muffler (silencer) with stylish black-silver sporty looking combination. The muffler guard or the silencer cover is also in silver or chrome finish.

The foot rests are in aluminum finish with rubber tops which looks good quality in general. There are simple looking black coloured leg guard at the front. One of the most noticeable and probably the most important change is the use of monoshock suspension at the rear which will improve the handling and ride characteristics of the new Bajaj Discover 2013 series.

The new Bajaj Discover 2013 is under testing phase and is expected to debut by the year end or early next year 2013 in India. We expect some of the design elements to be inspired by Pulsar 200 and KTM Duke 200. There is also a possibility of three-spark-plugs technology engine to be used in the Discover range instead of the two-spark-plug DTSi engine.
