single cylinder engine with a maximum power of 9.7 HP and should be able
twist 11 Nm of torque. Fuel will be fed to the engine through Honda’s
programmed fuel-injection system (PGM-FI) and the transmission is
achieved through a 4-speed gearbox. The list of other features include
LCD digital display, projector headlamps, LED tail- ights and what Honda
calls upside-down suspension.
The mini street bike with 12-inch
alloy wheels weighs about 102 kgs and has a fuel tank capacity of
5.48-litres. The MSX125 will be manufactured at Honda’s plant in
Thailand and will be made available in four colors, namely Asteroid
Black Metallic, Pearl Himalayas White, Pearl Queen Bee Yellow, and Pearl
Valentine Red. Seems, there is an opening for mini-segment in the
two-wheeler market too. How well the segment or in this case the Honda
MSX125 is received will be answered only through the sales figures it
achieves.
