Project: Biofortifying Sorghum with High Grain Iron and Zinc Content for Combating Micronutrient Malnutrition
Essential qualification: Essential: Doctorate (Ph.D) in Plant Breeding & Genetics / Genetics / Agrl. Botany / Botany
Desirable: Research experience with sorghum crop, experience in handling field experiments, emasculation and crossing techniques, field evaluation including design and layout, and biochemical grain quality analysis. Well versed with computer applications and statistics packages
Salary : Rs. 22000 + 30% HRA
Age : The age limit for above positions is up to 35 years for men and 40 years for women. The relaxation in upper age limit is permissible in case of C/ST/OBC candidates as per rules.
